There are lots of threads about this, and most ppl say iPowerWeb.com…
For under 10 bucks you can get so much, you have no idea. I’d go with dr2.net.
I use both Ipowerweb and dr2.net . Ipowerweb gives you more space and bandwidth but you have to pay for subdomains and you only get 2 mySQL databases whereas you get unlimited everything at dr2.
Good luck in choosing.

I rave about IPower
$95 for the year plus a domain. You get 450 mgs of web space and 3 mySQl databases, with a sick admin console
Can someone explain the bandwidth allowance?
Is this per month?
Is it just the total number of bytes your site uploads?
What happens if you run out?
Why do they put a limit on it?
thanks

How much “traffic” your site generates…Downloads from your site…Everytime there’s a visit files are downloaded, images, text…etc
Is this per month?
Yes.
What happens if you run out?
Depends on the hosting plan…Sometimes the site gets blocked and your visitors get a “Bandwidth allotment has been exceeded” page…other plans may charge you additional fees…
Why do they put a limit on it?
It’s their way of controlling what could otherwise be an enormous strain on their resources…Just a few very popular sites might be enough to cripple the other paying customers.
Think about sharing a broadband connection in your house with say 10 other computers through routers…Most times it would probably be usable…If all decided to start downloading huge files it’d feel like a 14.4 all over again.
That’s what would happen if they didn’t try to regulate their available bandwidth. Your site at times may take forever to respond to a request for a page and even longer to fullfil that request…
