If I wanted to become a webhost with my servers, what would be the best way to set up user accounts and stuff. Like limit a users space to say 100MB so they cant go over and all. Cpanel? or are there other programs out there that do this.

CPanel is the most popular option for doing this, and probably very easy to set up and make changes to.

If you’re running linux, you can use something called quotas (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Quota.html)
Need a free one, like cpanel. any ideas?

setting the quota is not difficult (I presume, haven’t done it though) if you are on a linux server… just depends on if you are or not…

there’s many many different control panels for webhosting, but the most popular ones are cpanel, ensim, and plesk. Generally speaking, most webhosts use one variation of those. Like anything in life, if you want something for free, you’re going to get the quality of a free product. You get what you pay for…
