I’m making a website for my band in Flash MX 2004 (incidentally, kirupa.com has been very helpful in getting me this far, thanks!).
The premise for my website is having a room, much like the style of Habbo Hotel, in which there is a PC, a calendar, a painting, a telephone, an iPod on a table, a bookshelf, and a door. Each of these buttons takes you to the myspace, gigs page, gallery, contact page, music page, band info and exit respectively.
When I test the main page on its own (i.e. without other frames to which the buttons link), everything looks fine. The buttons animate correctly etc. But when I test the .fla file with any other frames (even blank ones) as well as the main frame, EVERYTHING on the main frame, and the text in other frames, goes very pixelated. All the buttons still work etc, but it’s just a pain that the quality goes rubbish.
Can anyone tell me the reason for this, and how to fix it?
