Hello, what do you guys think of this photoshop mockup for my site?

I’m terrible when it comes to choosing colors… is it too blue?
I think it needs a bit more, possibly some small icons for the tabs and sidebar buttons, and the site title/header is a little too simple. But do you think it’s a good improvement over the first?
