Hi, I’ve been given an old FLA file that someone wrote ages ago and there’s mentions everywhere of “:/”. Can anybody tell me what this means?
I’m assuming it’s to do with depths and loading in SWFs but I’m not sure exactly how it’s used.
This is actually the least of my worries! None of the hundreds of layers have been named, none of the graphics in the library have been named and no objects or instances have been given meaningful names! The coding is also a complete mess with no indenting and improper use of functions everywhere. It looks like someone’s PURPOSELY made use of the worst Flash coding I’ve ever seen just to annoy me!
The lesson is kids…COMMENT EVERYTHING!!!
