so for a day now I have been trying to debug the simplest of any situations, all I was trying to do was load an as file, simple right, I’ve done it a million times before, well I guess if the folder you have your project in has any number of strange characters in the name it will cause everything to fail, did anyone know this, and why would that even matter in the least bit?! The name of my folder was “webDev 08/09” I assume it was the “/” that did it… Maybe this is something I have always just overlooked and taken for granted, but how can this even make the slightest difference, it wouldn’t even load the file or report errors as it should if there is an ERROR! All the necessary files where in the root of that folder. That being said, if you were to name your hard drive something funky, every single file might fail, how can this be?
