I made a simple script and I have it on two buttons. On one button it doesn’t work, but on the other it does - can someone take a look and see if they can figure out the problem?

it just has 3 elements on it so it should be easy to fix :-/

Hi,

i don’t know where you got that button from, but it’s the culprit as it is a mess of buttons within MCs within buttons. Strip it and it will work

Well thanx for the suggestion eki, but the movies are what i like about the first button. Without them I really wouldn’t want to use the button. So I guess my question comes down to is - why do the underlying movies cause the simple operation to fail?

it is a mess of [nested]buttons within MCs within buttons

You don’t need such a convoluted way of doing things to achieve that effect (thanks Ala).

all you need is a MC in the rollOver estate of the button.
