OK so you might know that I am at uni, and living away from home. Well my mum wants to use the internet while I am away, and she doesn’t really know much about computers (all she knows is how to switch it on and login in, and basically use Firefox). Now the problem is, my ISP provided me with a USB modem to use to connect to the internet, and each time I want to do so I need to connect the dial up (for broadband). Now this gets really annoying when my mum has problems and something doesn’t work and she phones me up and expects me to sort the problem out over the phone. Currently she has I think somehow deleted the password for the net connection and therefore can’t use it. So what does she do? She complains to me down the phone… at 11pm at night! Also she calls me up every time a pop up appears in Windows, such as software updates, etc… and that very annoying info balloon that comes up and says “Your computer might be at risk”. It’s so ■■■■ annoying! So what do I do, apart from ban my mum from using the computer?
