Recently, I’ve been going to bookstore to look around for a good general Flash book or a book entirely dedicated to just AS; but it seems like there’s not a lot of great books out there. Or most likely, my local bookstore doesn’t have a lot of selection. I looked online as well and there’s tons but its hard to tell by its cover sometimes. I’m very skeptical in terms of buying one because they’re generally expensive and I want the best buy for my money.
To everyone who has used or currently owns one, which one would you recommend? If you could buy one book, which one would it be and why? Either for Flash MX 2004 or 8 would be fine. I’m looking for something that’s easy to understand (not necessarily a lot of visuals but it helps) and at the same time, not boring. As far as background, I know the basics of flash (not a lot of actionscript) and also some visual basic.net (it might help as far as understanding the coding, variables and syntax, etc.). Thanks guys.
