I wouldn’t jump to a marketing cofounder yet. If you still don’t know exactly who the buyer is or which channel might work, giving up equity is a pretty expensive bet.
I’d spend maybe $1k–$3k on a freelancer for one very specific test over 2–3 weeks: book 10–15 customer calls, rewrite the landing page with two different angles, or run a small ad experiment. Then see if anything real shows up, like qualified leads at a sane cost or the same pain point coming up over and over in calls.
If you get signal, keep buying help in small chunks. If you don’t, it’s probably still a customer/positioning problem more than “I need a marketing cofounder.”
