I started using Flash during the time of flash 5 and ever since then I have used the timeline keyboard controls from that version of Flash. I personally find them to be more intuitive and smarter than the what they were changed to.
I just got CS5 and I can’t for the life of me figure out how I get that preference to work like Flash 5. I know I did it with my CS3, but can’t figure it out here or when I go back into CS3 and dig around. I choose the Flash 5 key commands but they don’t apply to the timeline for some reason.
To be more specific, this is referring to the way that when you click a block of frames in the timeline, it only selects that one frame and not the whole chunk and a lot of other things such as not using the Function key to move things.
Anybody know? I am getting super annoyed at working with the default keys.
