So Im starting up a little blog type project. I recognize that there are quite a few very intelligent people on the site and would like to gather that into something collectively useful (beyond the scope of the forums and kirupa.com).
At this point we don’t have anything set up, we’re just sort of laying out the idea. I think we’d like a broad amount of topics covered that are related to anything. Not too much of one knowledge group or another.
Anyway I’m getting too specific.
If you have interest in posting to a community blog type site and have the time and desire to post once or twice a week please post here. Format your response as close to the following as possible:
Articles per week: However many quality articles you think you could put out a week. Looking for at least one.
The kinds of articles could range from just keeping up with the world and what’s going on with them to posting about specific problems and solutions in your area of interest.
Take this is a public solicitation for interested individuals. If MTSoul and I feel that you’d add to the project we will contact you via PM and go from there. If you don’t hear anything don’t be offended.
Actually it’d be a community of people expressing ideas - philosophy, science, religion, politics (no flame baits), anything that’s intelligent, funny, witty, or generally interesting. It’s not a link blog like Digg where you just post youtube videos of dogs jumping off bicycles.
You can think of it as a collective intelligence expressing different aspects of everything through different perpectives.
Hahah no just a slight misunderstanding on my part about it being tech based, but I’m kind of digging on that idea while MTSoul wants to do this, and I think this is a good idea too.
I’m interested. My output would probably only be about once or twice a month, but my write-ups are generally really deep and philosophical. I could throw in a few more superficial ones once or twice a week without difficulty though…
I could write about anything pertaining to the financial or equity markets, if that would be interesting to anybody. A lot of it would be opinion and speculation though, whilst employing facts of course.
Yeah I have no idea how this would work if it’s about anything haha. Anything that you’d actually want to read that does not require the reader to possess a field of study in that already…? Man I am good at this vague thing.
