Looking at the winamp.com site, you’ll not find one peep about Winamp 5 at all. Even in the developer section. It does exist though.

They say that Winamp 5 is supposedly the combination of the best versions (2 and 3, thus 2+3=5) :sigh:

But I agree with you on preference, I am and will always be using Winamp 2(.91)

iTunes is 4, they need to be one up on Apple :wink:

hm… I just DL’ed winamp 5…

so far it’s cool… so far it’s actuall version 2… with the look of 3.

as they said…

it’s actually nice!!

All you hardcore version 2 lovers (like myself), at least try the new 5’er… just once…

I’ll keep trying version 5 until I find a reason not to…
