Wohooo! WMP10 could be out tomorrow :slight_smile: It does come with something I will never use - an online music store. Why pay for restricted music files when I could rather purchase the CD and do more with it!

cool. I like WM more than Real Player (because it knows how to do some serious sucking. Suck a bowling ball through a kitchen pipe level of suck.) But then again, I really only use WM where quicktime won’t work, and when I don’t want to use Winamp (rarely). It’s not bad, the others have just kinda grown on me.

NEVER use RealPooper, there’s players like Windows Media (Player) Classic that has the codec for it without all the crap RP comes with.

I solely use WMP for movies. All My music is played through winamp 5 :love:

I’ve used winamp for 4 years now… I love it :slight_smile:

Winamp is great, awesome substitute for iTunes for Pods.

No. That’s like saying “You gotta admit, Hitler managed his propaganda well. Even though a lot of people don’t like his stuff, but he’s got some SERIOUS power. Ain’t that what matters?”. See the comparison? It matters not only how you do at the finish line, but how well(and fairly) you run the race :wink:

Think about the management (project) structure they must have in place at microsoft, It must be awsome!!. The amount of people and different departments ect, trying to bring it all together. id like to see how that works. In that respect Gates does managed his business well.

Real has been cleaning up their act recently though :slight_smile: They open-sourced RP and their codec, so I don’t think there are going to be any ads in the next version (like Netscape and Mozilla kinda)

True, but you still have to admit he did sway alot of people to his side. He was good at that. And people only started disliking his stuff after the little “poland” incident :wink:

The other thing is that while he may have had some really bad ideas, his regime got things done. Ex: The invented the Volkswagon (sp?) and magnetic recording tape (cassette tape)! Not to mention the enigma machine, etc.

One final thought: Do atheletes get a gold for running a good race but not finishing first? I think not.

That’s true - the analogy continues. There are good things about Microsoft as well - but I doubt you’d say that Hitler did more good than bad :wink:

That’s true, but at least they would get some money for it as opposed to losing the medal to the IOC without getting any money for it :slight_smile:
