…in the help forums the thread starter could mark the thread as open or solved so everyone knows if it’s worth lookin at or not. Hey? Probably not cool enough to warrant the effort it’d take to do though. Meh, just thinking out loud.
Yeah that would be cool
Word.
Werd.
Actually, it is a pretty good idea.
good idea
i thought of that too, a long time ago. some forums even have that. some even lock the thread stating at the end of i think in the first post saying “problem resolved.” it’s a good idea, so that no spam can keep on going…
ok, problem solved. lock this thread. joking…
Well… you can delete the thread.
Then someone with a similar question will have to repost - it’s better this way, because you know, people always use the search feature first!
I know… that’s why I laughed.
That’s not laughing, that’s sticking your tongue out - it’s okay though, it looks like a laugh too.
Yeah… I’ve always used and interpreted it as laughing though.
trew,
Now, this is a great idea! I have changed it so that the thread creator can close his/her own thread
If someone could test it and tell me if it works, you might be spared on April 1st.
Works :thumb:
Ha nice kirupa…but there no tricking me so…Try all you want but i will not be fooled.
Aw norkev beat me to it… i did it in the test forum
I closed a better, real thead, though.
:mu:
Not necessarily the best idea, what if someone wants to add something to the thread? or ask an indepth question about a particular part?
I think it’d be best to make a new thread anyways, than to revive an old one with a new question.
