WTF is wrong with kF these days?

Can anyone please explain this problem I’ve been facing for the past 6 days or so?

Everytime I try to reply to a post, when the images and stuff on the page finishes loading, the page auto refreshes and all that I have written is gone. Then, when I’m trying not to lose control and break my monitor into a million pieces and I write the whole thing down again in my reply, kF auto redirects to some search page… And guess what? It finds the silliest topics on kF!

Now I thought it could be some sorta bug in my browser or something. And so I formatted my hard drive.

I install everything back and come to kF to reply to a coupla posts. Guess what?

THE SAME THING!!!

I am one step away from slappin my monitor silly!!!

Could someone please tell me what the HEEEEEELLLLL is goin on?

I’ve been having the same problem as well.

That post by RabBell was made in the “site/forum down” thread by kirupa. I think Skinny said something similar to what I mentioned as well. Go take a look please?

The servers were upgraded today, so slowdowns should decrease. A lot of the problems with Quick Edit working on refresh but not on Save is due to performance. Hopefully that has been sorted out.

Other than the site being a little sluggish at times, Im guessing due to server load, I haven’t experienced any of the above bugs.

Tonight, I’ll try to fiddle with some vB issues and get some of the slowdowns on the software side fixed.

I’m impressed you formatted your hard disk so you could reply on a forum. I’d of thought a browser or server problem, not a reinstall of the OS…:!:

My reply box has been a bit glitchy with letting me use keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste stuff…but its pretty infrequent

@unclesond: Dude, I had been havin problems with my system’s registry/installations and stuff and so I formatted my HDD! Not because kF was acting all weird! :stuck_out_tongue:
