I have this xml calendar component I downloaded form flash components. It works great but I would like to change two things and can’t figure out how/where.
It displays the first event/menu item from the xml file into the current date.
If you click on a date that doesn’t have an associated event it doesn’t clear the text box.
Whatever was last in there stays in there. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
The component is on frame 4 of the calendar fla on the left hand side. The xml load AS is on the first frame.
I like your footer effect do u think u can teach me how to make one like this I am working on my website’s flash banner and i saw your nice transition i would love to adapt something like this to my banner

do u know how I can make images change after certain time i.e. e images automaticly changes after 1 min. with some transition ? Plz
There are lots of calendars out there. I got mine from www.flashcomponents.net. Just click on “components” and then type in “calendar” in the search box. There are a few to choose from.
Adapting them to your own projects is not the easiest thing in the world. I still haven’t found where to adjust mine to fix the problem mentioned above.
I think Voets’ banner is similar to the grid image tutorial found on kirupa. Let me look . . .
As for your last item you want to do some reading up on tweens and image transition and then you’ll use setInterval to set the timing to every minute or so.
