XML Gallery - Open picture on fade and preloader

I have a working photogallery in XML and flash.

but the thumbs and the full size pictures are loading too fast.
I´d like to make the thumbs and the full sized pictures to appear in fade in (from 0% to 100%)

How can I do this?
