MIT and Georgia Tech’s aerospace engineering departments are developing a satellite to be flown into space in 2010. They’re collecting sponsorships which would get your name on the aircraft, as well as pictures. If you go for the Gold sponsorship, they’d actually take apart the spacecraft and give you your piece.
They’re selling space in square centimeters, and it’s pretty pricy. The cheapest 1cm^2 block is $35, the most expensive is $250.
This is like that million dollar home page thing… but with spacecraft, more marketing (you’ll probably be on the news as well), and BIG money.
