Half dead maybe. High school students here still use it to store small projects like text documents and that kind of stuff. Though blank CDs are relatively cheap, CD-writers are not built-in into every cheap home PC but its more of like an add-on.
But in a workplace, floppies are definitely dead. or so i think… :sigh:
