looks like everyone got up this morning and said “let’s go visit 2advanced” because it’s taking eons to load on my computer. And I have broadband!
I saw the begining and the site, but that was about it. Everything else just hung on the pre-loader screen. It looks great that’s for sure and is truley amazing, especially when you consider all the back end stuff that goes along with it. I mean they are doing things behind the scenes that I couldnt even imagine.
As for the usability - I had to look around for like 4 min trying to figure out where to go and what to do.I mean the meat and potatoes of the site is right on the top but ifyou want to look around you have to do percisley that - look around.
Great looking site, very tough to navigate, tons of eyecand, not as much 3D as I would have thought (good thing for load times).
I would give it 8 outta 10

I just got to it and like I thought it is nothing special. They made some Swift 3D ships and a couple of new transistions, other than that it is blah. Oh yea, I hate the red & teal, it makes me want to kill my first born child.
Last night when I tried to hit it, I laughed because it no worky. I hope they had a local copy of their site for their launch party.

now is a safe time to say that my site doesnt have the worst loading speed…

It was slow on my high speed connection too, about 5 minutes of white space, and that was waiting for the preloader. Pfft!
Yeah. It is going slow for me too, but it is the first day, i’m sure their server is still under incredible load.
True, true… I guess we have to make allowances for everyone trying to look at it all at once. But I still reckon it’ll take a while, even when interest dies down.
It is soo slow loading because they have a totally neat-o secret site embed in that stupid one they made. It is called Project Mayhem. To see it just hit ALT+F4 and you will see it appear.

lol I knew what i was getting myself into but at first i thought it was real! :flower:
the trick is to start it off with just F4, then gradually work in other key combinations … F4+F5 … F4+insert … F4+shift … or was it control? might be alt.
