when you hit the button it blinks, yeah, but this white rectangle is still ON THE RIGHT and is sliding towards the button
in my pic white rectangle is over the button already!

somebody may have already posted this (it’s hard to sift through 400 posts!)
it looks like they fixed the horizontal overflow problem (the site was too wide, even for 1024x768)…i went to it again today and the horizontal scroll bar didn’t pop up this time
somehow, that one little thing makes the site look a lot better (to me at least).

Other sites mentioned in this thread have impressed me more than the new 2A. <b>Shrugs</b>
Of course, considering the state of my own little excuse for a site, I’m hardly in a position to throw stones.

We’ve been disputing this one for a while now.
I think that most of us just expected something completely new and different. There’s no getting away from the fact that (once it’s loaded) the 2A site works well - all the animation is smooth and the artwork is great… But it seems to me to be very similar to their last site, only with a few tweaks and a change of colour scheme… Getting round it isn’t always easy either.
I guess it’s all purely subjective anyway.
I guess the problem is that we expected to much and the step to v4 was pretty small and it was hard to make something new, what is a lot of better than v3. v3 was just a awesome site…
V3 knocked everyone for six, certainly.
Perhaps because it’s been copied so much we’ve become used to it and want more than is reasonable? They’ve done it once, so we expect them to do it again…
Yep, the clouds and this stuff was just tottaly new, but now…
Now we want to see something even better. We should search for a great idea, something tottaly new and unbelievable hard to make. And then tell 2A so their next version will be awesome like v3

I love the intro and the way they open the site with those vectors going down, and then it zooms in. very cool, transitions are nice too, but I’m missing something in the basic rules of design, not really sure what it is, there is maybe too much of a content…dunno, but one of the best new sites out there.
