3G iPhone

Not anymore

and, define “so quickly”

they refresh their product line once a year at least to keep up with the rest of the world

err… to stay ahead of the rest of the world.

Who wants to buy my Touch? :stuck_out_tongue:

There’s a good mantra when it comes to buying computers.

If you need it now, buy it…otherwise wait a few months.

I think the difference between Apple and the rest of the industry is that they just keep updating the same products, so people feel like they’ve been left behind. All companies release new products, they just don’t call them the exact same thing, ya know?

That’s called smart marketing, no? Sorta like the whole thing about re-aligning instead of redesigning.

Taking a look at the mobile phone industry alone, I’d say it’s better to stick to popular designs than new ones. Just look at Nokia. Deteriorates with every new product. There are a couple of exceptional cases of course, as usual, but on the whole, the quality of the material as well as the overall “feel” of the instruments just gets cheaper and cheaper.

So it’s nothing all too good if new designs and stuff come out. Something rock solid to be replaces by something that will have to make a new stand.

Oh well, again, very subjective issues.

It clearly has pros and cons. It creates strong brands, but I imagine that people who don’t pay close attention don’t always understand the differences between the models, since they all have the same name. It also makes people feel cheated when they get the previous generation.

I can’t wait for this mean machine - to kick off in Australia.
Hope Three (hutchinson 3G) buy them and start selling them!!!

Can’t wait!

^^ Exactly how I feel about Apple and the tech market in general.

Thats their own damn fault

I’d rather deal with trying to find out the differences between generations of iPhone, than figure out what the crap Nokia is doing with their N70, NItu409, N8435, N4835uy405q model crap.

honestly, they’ve pumped out so many phones, its doing them more harm than good

Think about the environment please.

Oh… ok … ?

Recycle your cell phones, thanks.

Oh, I melt mine down into a nice boiling pool of plastic, and dispose of it into the local sewer, I also collect all the fumes to save for friday nights

Drinking water sources are a more appropriate disposal site.

What about kiddie pools?

That’s were I dump my battery acid.

What? I thought those pools were for dumping kids into.?

^Yea but an empty pool isn’t fun.
What about radiator fluid?
I mix that in with their cereal.
