A Pebble (In 3Ds)

Starpromo, do I remember you from somewhere? This is dan4885, I changed my user name.

Urm, well yeah i was like one of the first members on the old EZBoard, i was called TDFwrestling… is that where you know me from… thats how i know you anyway… way back…

Oh yea, now I remember! Way, way, way back in the day, fa shizzle mah nizzle. . . . .

akward silence

nevermind :-\

Haha, i can remember your old 3D footers that eat my processor sooo bad… But back then there was no limitations… Hey the only problem is… Kirupa forgot all about me when he handed superpowers out to all the privileged… thats why my name is naked with out the K… :frowning:

It is because I make tutorials and knew more about flash than you at the time. . . .

Ah right… Im not bitter or anything… Maybe one day when i get better il get to be one of his troops… hehe

I am sure there will be open spots as the forum gets larger. Right about now we have a lot of moderators, but I am sure we will need more eventually soon!

Haha, i will keep that in mind… (you can too…:))

were you speaking to me? it’s like a freaky pseudo I’m kirupa sentence, I felt compelled to say I’m not kirupa Starpromo; but then I was like well…what if I was Kirupa for a day…so with that said…

nice pebble!

Oh, and is your pebble related to this egg?:egg:

pool of water: Use a plane and bump the length and with segments up to something reasonably detailed. You can make a rougher surface by using a displacement modifier and fractal noise for the map, then make the material something blue with a fresnel falloff map in the reflection slot. For a smooth surface with ripples you could apply a ripple space warp… not very convincing though because it doesn’t loose it’s strength as the ripples spread out.

Cool, I really like that :thumb:

:pope:

We do like the pebble, honestly. It’s good.

Thanks all… When i get home tonight i will post up the new and definetly improved shadow…

Plus stay tuned for a refelection and maybe even a ripple…

Thanks,
Starpromo
