Hey Guys,
Im on 56k and I wanted to increase the number of simultaneuous downloads on my computer which has XP OS. I read on another thread and i followed through steps which went ino RegEdit and ive added two lines MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server (setted to decimal and value of 10) and MaxConnectionsPerServer (also to decimal and value of 10).
Process:
1)regedit
2)Hkey_current_user>software>microsoft>windows>Internet settings
I was wondering does this actually take effect after reconnecting my internet? I tried it with 4 simultaneous dlwds but the last one just cuts off. Would my netspeed also have anything to do with it? Any recommendations how to successfully increase simultaneous downloads would be great
