Common projects will include the use of Flash video, unique transitions & effects, deep-linking, and database integration via Remoting.
Position Summary
As an experienced Flash developer, you will have a thorough knowledge of Actionscipt 2.0 (AS2) have real world experience developing and deploying Flash sites.
You will be part of a small team of programmers and designers working together to create beautifully functional interfaces driven by external data sources.
Job Responsibilities
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment
Ability to lead a project as well as work solo if the situation arises
Develop and integrate reusable code for a range of projects using ActionScript
Job Requirements
Practical knowledge of Flash and ActionScript 2.0
3+ years experience developing GUIs and other user-centric experiences
Experience working with XML
Deep knowledge of Flash Compression techniques and file structuring practices
Deep knowledge of Flash animation techniques using both the timeline and programmatic motion
Experience integrating Flash video into Flash applications
Experience creating dynamic Flash applications that use external data sources
Portfolio showing Flash designs/implementations for the web
Strong problem solving skills and an attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about interactive and where the web is heading
Ability to communicate complex visual and structural concepts
Additional web skills and OS X knowledge a plus
