Salary: £28k to £55k Depending on Experience
Role: Experienced & Senior Level
Due to their recently succesful title online this company is looking to rapidly expand and bring on Actionscript/Flash Developers at both Experienced and Senior level to play a key role in the development of their ongoing IPs. You’ll be designing and developing innovative new game play and social networking features as well as prototyping new in-house game development tools and techniques for one of the fastest growing online games in the world.

The key skills required for this role are:
- Highly proficient with Object Oriented ActionScript 3.0
- Experienced with the entire Flash product workflow from the Flash IDE through to server side development
- Confidence in working with a large, evolving codebase
- A thorough understanding of design patterns and software architecture
- Familiar with use of REST and XML for back-end communications
- Confident working in Eclipse with either Flex Builder or FDT with SVN or similar version control systems
- Experienced in full lifecycle, team-based development work
- Exposure to Maven, Ant, MXMLC, FlexUnit and continuous integration
- Confident mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge with a close-knit team
In addition you will benefit from having any of the following:
- Strong communication skills, experience of working in an Agile environment
- Experience in creating frameworks, templates and documentation for others to use
- An interest in social networking and game design
- Solid understanding of socket server/real-time multiplayer technologies
- Experience in Flex RMI to a Java back-end
- Education in Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience working in a gaming environment not essential but an advantage
