i keep noticing that the weird part of AI tools isn’t the output quality — it’s how quickly they start feeling like defaults. After a while, the first draft stops being something you make and starts being something you accept.

That feels small until you look up and everything has the same polish, the same rhythm, the same safe choices. maybe that’s just the cost of convenience, but i wonder if we’re quietly training ourselves to like the thing the tool makes easiest.
