look — the tech part is almost secondary here. the bigger issue is whether anyone around you has any real way to know they’re being recorded, and that’s already a mess in bars, offices, schools, pretty much anywhere people expect a little privacy.
would you actually wear these, and more importantly, would you be comfortable being around someone who does?

I wouldn’t wear them, mostly because the “recording” indicator is never going to be legible across a room in real life. if the only way to know is “trust me bro it’s off, ” people are gonna treat the wearer like a walking security camera and just avoid them.
“Always-on” recording is basically turning on wallhacks in a social lobby and then being shocked everyone starts playing like it’s ranked. I wouldn’t wear them, and I’d get way more guarded around someone who does — not even “they’re evil, ” just… the minute you can’t tell if you’re on camera, the whole room’s vibe changes. Bars and offices already have enough “am I being perceived” energy without adding an invisible REC light.
