extract the gdiplus.dll into the windows system 32 folder

cool, couldn’t find anything on the adobe site about it.

hey PR extract it from where?

What version of Windows are you using?

I did a search on my XP Pro and found 5 instances of that file.

One in my Adobe Bridge folder
One in my Illustrator folder
Three in my WinSxS folder (buried in there)

just type the dll name into google and it should come up. I’ve had dll probs befre and just find them using that and stick them where it asks - job done

in fact save time - CLICK ME

i wonder what caused it? possibly saying yes all when your unistalling a application? might of been using a shared file and saying yes all deleted it?

That would be my guess. It looks like that is a shared .dll and a number of programs could of unistalled it if you said yes to that dialogue box.

Hopefully he will tell us what happened before he got this error message.
