Hi Guys,
I’ve got a really tricky problem for a master to solve.
I’ve been handed a flash site to help modify, but it is seemingly way beyond my comfort zone. It is a 3 frame site with a bunch of actionscript & an external xml document, and does the following:
-
The Site has a preloader in frames 1 & 2
-
It also has script which pulls in an external image as the background. This image resizes to fill the entire background dynamically as the user resizes the browser window.
-
Then the big one: The XML also inserts a menu with sub & sub-sub menu options. This is accomplished via actionscript & the same basic external xml document.
All of the above works, the following is what I am attempting to modify:
- I need to somehow create image links for some of the content pages (buttons, or xml text links - preferable) which will change the background image (the stretchy one). In the example I have attached, once a boat is selected, and the textual content appears, I would need image links to appear above the body text. These would then display the different images of each boat.
If anyone can possibly help me find a way to add this feature, or point me in the right direction, I would be unimaginably grateful
Thank you for your time!
The necessary files are attached for you to look at & ponder.
