Hello, I’m new to web design and am trying to make a portfolio site for my graphic design services. I am using this tutorial:

and have managed to resize it to the size I want.
My next question is this: How can I make it so that the different menu bars are different images? The way I understand this is that flash file has one instance of an item, and the as3 uses that instance as many times as the xml dictates. Is there way to make the xml choose a different Image? ideally I want to have a texture over the menu bars.
Secondly, the hand cursor is on when I hover over anything that is not embedded text. If I have a picture uploaded as the slide, it acts like a link but isn’t one, is there a way to separate the menu from the slide so they don’t act as the same button? Please feel free to ask questions, I would post my example but my site is down right now…grrr.
