B/W Photography Battle

Looks great bud,
and don’t worry about that dog thing :D!

And man she’s (he?) got a wet nose, mine is dry as a cigar

oh and redanchor- i like your portfolio.

it’s a he. his name is teddy. what a gay name, I know. ha ha ha. but he came with that name- so not much you can do.

he’s about 2-3 years old. we’re not really sure.
the wet nose thing… funny. i thought all dogs had wet noses?! crazy man. crazy.

oh grinch… remember those flowers you took photos of for the color themed photo battle? I found out my grandpa has the same kind of flowers! i thought it was crazy because i’ve never seen such weird colors on a flower before.

I tried taking pics but everytime I try getting an in focus macro shot, they come out blury. i think i get too close. it’s a shame because there were bees in these flowers, too. they would have made AWESOME pics. i’ll have to go back someday.

Am I too late? I didn’t see this until today…

Those are all great guys…

Garh, I just can’t decide which one to enter :m:

Here, I’ll post these two, and the first person to tell me which one he likes better, that one 'll be my entry :beam:

i’d lie and tell you i like the first one better just so that i had a better chance of winning, but i honestly like the second one better.
then again… is that just a bluff?! ha ha jk.

Nice shots DJ studios and el thierro

el_thierro I would go with #2 for sure.
The captured motion of the fountain and the pigeons just looks so well…captivating

Thats a great shot.

I don’t know what it is El but I like the first one better. I think the composition is better, the lighting is better… Like I said, I don’t know why I like it better. I just do.

Ok I figured it out…

I’m a sucker for old builldings like that. They just fascinate me. Where did you take that at? Somewhere in Europe I suppose right.

@El, I like the first one better  becuase I think for the second one you should have lessened the light exposure, (not positive) so you could of gotten that pigeon on a steady pose. And just like Dj, I love architecture, and that one is perfect!

@Dj, It’s great man, I’ll let er’ in, I’m ending this battle at 12PM EST, it’s 10AM now.

@mrE, Haha that’s funny, becuase I have only seen them in grandmother’s garden!
About the blurry thing, well what I did was messed with some settings, and got to a close enough distance. I don’t know much about camera’s, so I just went up and took it, and turned out great :P.

Good Job everyone!

I may be a little late, but could I enter this one? :

yeah sure,
it’s not 12 here yet, like 40 mins left. And who is that? You took that? It look awsome!

He’s my boyfriend.

Awww,
thats great!

Hehe… That kind of answers the question of what I’ve been getting up to recently and why I haven’t frequented the forums as much as normal…

Ah yeah I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing your posts anymore. Well glad to hear that you have someone, and good luck!

POLL IS UP!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Wow, this suddenly went fast :beam:

Grah, you guys aren’t exactly making it easy for me, but I see Grinch already picked the second for me in the poll, so I’ll just go with that

I know, I couldn’t choose either.
And Dj, it’s taken in a medieval town in Italy, I don’t remember the name coz we visited so many little towns, but I can look it up for you if you really want to know

Sorry El if thats not the one you wanted!
But mostly everybody liked the second one, and I thought it was kick arse! Hey, if you want me to change, I think I can find out a way.
