I want to record a series of high quality video tutorials and I’m wondering what the best software is for this. So far I have toyed around with Adobe Captivate and CamStudio. Each of those programs seems jerkier than I would like, and Captivate seems to blow up if you exceed 1024X768 resolution, and I’m running at 1920X1080. I know I may need to scale down my recording area a bit, but 1024X768 feels like I’m working in a tiny box.
Either way, I have seen some video tutorials out that have a high-resolution and very fluid motions, I would really like to find the type of program they use. A couple of websites that I consider to have high quality video tutorials include:
