Best ways to import transparency

Vectors is one thing…but when you are using a rastor image and want to have transparency…what is the best way???

If I use a gif…I get those terrible matte issues…If I use a jpg…do I have to create a mask??? Can I import a psd???

Try 24-bit PNG.

32 bit? Hmm…I’ve never seen that one before, I guess photoshop doesn’t export to that then.

hmmm never noticed that but yes it does not. only fireworks does…so if you are on ps then yes e-geek is right. but FW does.
