Indonesia:

BAD:
-Discrimination against minors [both in religion and race] <- hate this most!!
-chaos happenf, we minors suffer the consequence.
-Low salary [1-3 years of experience: less than $300 a month, you’re lucky if you get $300]
-Corrupt goverment [we are in the top 3 of the world’s most corrupt countries]
-high level of pollution [try our capital Jakarta for air pollution]
-traffic [if you think bay area has traffic issue… you don’t know anything yet]
-MOSQUITOZ
-technology idiot
-bribe is everywhere
-almost everywhere you go you gotta pay for parking.
-stupid politicians [morons]
-soccer team sucks [so freaking crap I remember they made an own goal in purpose]

GOOD
-Everything is soooooooo freaking cheap… oh except import cars [if you got dollar $$$, you’re the king]
-Food
-my best friends and family live there
-although bribing is bad, but it’s useful sometimes if you accidentally run over the red light :sen:

i visit bangkok very freequently, we get ladies tops and lot more clothing from there for our store in delhi, www.jasninder.com/base21 i
bangkok is a great place to shop…dont connect to the food though, massages are yummy…rest i m not gona talk about on here, everyone who has visited the place knows :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

That reminds me, something to add to Canada:
(bad)
-Mosquitos and Black Flies. (Black flies are best described as teeth with wings. They bite and leave HUGE welts.)

Aaah, you’re one of those tourists.

uhm…i dont go further then massages :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

actually when I was on the plane, I met a couple of americans that went to Indonesia purely for shirt shopping  I heard bangkok is really cheap too… but I’m not sure if it’s cheaper than in Indonesia.

Yeah, you just get ‘quietly taken care of’. :sure:

Likes
+Food: Mince and spuds, yum! ::snug:
+Imported Food: We have some excellent Chinese and Italian restaurants.
+Pretty Girls: but not those spide-y sluts (spide is a Northern Irish word for a pop culture trend follower. You know, hard lads and slags)
+Proximity to the Republic of Ireland: Are southern neighbours are politically neutral and friendly.
+Music: Snow Patrol and Ash are both from Northern Ireland and there are some excellent unsigned bands here right now.

Dislikes
-Little Racial Diversity: We don’t have many immigrants except the owners of Chinese, Indian and Italian restaurants.
-Sectarianism: The Protestants hate the Catholics and vice versa.
-Violence: Stems from sectarianism
-Terrorist Groups: Also due to sectarianism
-Weather: It has rained for a bout 70% of this year so far.
-Corrupt/Useless Politicians: The old Minister for Education used to be a leader of the IRA, a terrorist organisation, and Sinn Fein, one of Ireland’s largest political parties is backed by the IRA. The DUP, rival party to Sinn Fein, is backed by the UVF, yet another terrorist organisation. Since the 60s Ireland has had three ceasefires and all have failed to lead to arms decommisioning.

That’s about it for now. I’ll add more if I remember anything.
