Stupid Indonesia gov… not enough with bali bombing, jw marriot, now the australian embassy almost got bombed
I’m so sad with this… and so mad with their ignorance and stupidity!!

yeah it is stupid that people attack, but i think that the Indonesian government isn’t the cause, if they are too heavy handed against JI there will no doubt be a coup.
i heard about the attack on the radio, on the way home from school, so far about 7 people are dead with about a hundred injured, with no australian deaths so far. I realy feel scared for australians working in other nations as it is a little easier for terroists to strike us over there / there is also the chance of political instability (my cousin heads up, an australian embasy in one of the larger chinese provinces [not sure which one exactly])
Well it’s true that they are not the cause, but the way they handle this matter since jw marriot and bali bombing, is what annoys me.
I still remember when US claimed that terrorist did exist in Indonesia, our vice president was so mad and demanded US to appologize. He was so mad and told the people that Indonesia was clean from terrorist, what happened next was bali bombing occured because their ignorance. They didn’t learn tho, they knew terrorist does exist but they didn’t do much, then JW marriot bombing occured.
Our people is ignorance too, they prefer to be anti-US and get themselves bombed by the terrorist. They never and will never learn.
The Australian embassy was apparently bombed because they support the Iraqi war… I don’t think it was indonesia that was targeted…
And corect me if i’m wrong but there will be some elections in Australia and the major opposing candidate told he would bring back troops home. So this might be an attempt to shift the australian electorate…
I don’t care who the target was, that’s not important because at the end my family who live there who suffer alot, and it will hurt them sooner or later if our government keepd on being ignorance.
It happened in Indonesia soil, so whether it’s australian embassy or not… they have to start doing the right thing to prevent this in the future.

the other guy (Mark Lathem) said hell bring the troops home (mainly personal working in bagdad) he would still leave our naval force in the gulf / most of our millitary’s hummanitarian staff will stay, such as our logistical force and such.
Also it was targeted at both australians and indonessians as the terroists dislike the co-operation between the australian and indonesian governments.
As far as i know there has been no australian deaths, but there was an indonesian born girl (had an Aussie dad) whom was getting her passport to go live in australia after becoming a citizen the week before. She was critically injuered and they wern’t sure if she would live - i haven’t seen the news since this morrining so i don’t know how she is doing.
I also don’t think that a terroist attack will force how the australian people vote, i believe that john howard will lose the election anyway.

As long as they are trying to blow up politicians and not innocent civilians I don’t care what they do.
And yes some innocent people died, but I would rather they try to kill politicians than say… a school full of innocent women and children.
My heart goes out to the innocent people who die needlessly in acts of terrorism.
The sad thing is that the guy behind the the bombing was a respected University Lecturer in Malaysia and helped students. Then he threw his academic life down the drain and became a mastermind terrorist. What people throw away…
