Has anyone seen this movie?
I saw it last night and for some reason, while I liked The Departed very much and while I am a huge Nicholson fan, I felt that this movie went deeper. Plot all the same, nothing unpredictable, no new scenarios to play with. Just a profound movie and exquisite acting both from Chris Cooper and Ryan Phillippe. The first you might have seen in the Bourne series and The Patriot. The latter you probably saw before in Crash.
Perhaps a comparison between the two movies is a bit off road, The Departed involving more action and The Breach being more on the “theatrical” almost-Pacino side. But I feel that while this movie will certainly not make it to the Oscars (due to its launch time), it sure deserves some recognition.
Anyway, just thought that it is a good movie to watch:)
