Im making a flash webpage and for my buttons,
that are “18” point high with “12” point arial fontface.
And they will be highlighted with a different color on
mouse over.
I dont know if I will do the buttons in flash,
or import them as gif files from Photoshop ??
Whats your thoughts on this ?

What’s the point of using flash if you’re going to make your button rollovers in photoshop? What you want to do could easily be done in flash, just have the text a different color on the over state and you’re done. =)
it depends on the complexity of your buttons. Do you want flash imagery or photoshop imagery? You can get more detail with photoshoped buttons, but the filesize will be a little bigger and they will be harder to update (needing to go back to photoshop to change anything)
If you opt for bitmap buttons, be sure to make your life easier by laying them out in imageready as slices/rollovers.
Oh, They are not going to be more
than 2 colors, but I was thinking
of the issue compability.
If I make them in photoshop thay will always look the
same. But as flash text they will maybe change a little
bit (1 pixel or so) depending on the viewers resolution ?
And I was also wondering if they may be a little missplaced
when done in flash ? (Im not using exact coordinates)
Would rather have the whole button (gif) displaced if so, rather than having the button text lying to close to the buttons border !
