well, my project is not done. i have been working pretty hard @ it, and i (well actually it was lostinbeta, lol) have come across something that now bothers me. are those links supposed to look like that? im going with…no! i dont know how to fix them. i found the one topic about this, but it really didn’t help me much. i tried editing the different states, but it looks the same to me. anyways, all help is appreciated!
what exactly are you trying to change?
i think that it is too difficult to click on the link. the cursor moves too quickly from the hand to the pointer. well, it seems that way, lol, for me its just like you have to click in the exact center of the word…not just anywhere in the general area of the text. i am wondering if there is a way to clean it up.
make your hit state a rectangle that covers the word, with a white fill.
Double click your button symbol to open it for editing.
Create a new layer. Draw a rectangle on that new layer that covers the area of your button. Drag the keyframe so that it is in the last frame (Hit State frame I believe), this will create an invisible hit area so your text doesn’t do that.
hmm i dun think you need the new layer… i’ve done it a bunch o times on the same layer and it’s worked out aight so far… shrugs
but yeh…definitely need a keyframe in ur hit state.
You can do it on the same layer, but I prefer new layer so I used that.
yay! its working! thanks a bunch yall!
i’ll be sure to post an updated link once i have things completed!
