I’m just wondering if you can see the preloader in this site. Since there’s a swf that’s dynamically loaded, I can’t really test for it in flash.

well… not really. The way I had it set up, it wasn’t downloading the actual movie while the preloader was playing…

Seemed to work just fine for me, I saw the preloader and everything worked nice and smooth

evidently your content isn’t Fat enough to even warrant a pre loader
(ie: it loads so quick that the preloader never gets to show itself) …
…this I don’t see as a bad thing (ergo: it sucketh not???)
may I suggest that you put some static image and/or text on the load screen indicating that ‘loading’ is taking place in/for the event that the viewer doesn’t get to see your nifty progress bar ??? just a thought…

yeah, it’s weird… I don’t know what’s going on. But anyways, I’ve decided that I don’t really care about people with 56k modems… haha. Almost everyone has high speed connection where I live… hehe.

preloaders are normally set up to not show ‘unless’ it is necessary
…you could probably force it to show by incuding a time function (???)
yeah… maybe I’ll do it later on, when I’m not so frustrated…
