Iām more than willing to confess though that there isnāt much skill involved in drawing the way I do with a PC. The difficult bit (for me) is drawing the initial image by hand. Although most of the time itās a rough guide, not a complete picture. Once Iāve got that basic idea down on paper then I can scan it in and begin to build on it.
Iāve found that I just canāt seem to get things like proportions right when I draw freehand with a mouse. Especially for things like poeple which I draw a lot. Maybe if I had a Wacomā¦ :sure: That would be nice.
Iāve only just started mine about 5 minutes ago.
Hopefully heāll be something different to everyone elsesāā¦ I seem to have gone in a complete different direction with the pixel battle, so weāll see what happens hereā¦
Well, Iām off work for the rest of this week, so Iām going to have to post my entry now.
After a lot of deliberation (alright, 5 minutes of panic, I confess), I decided to make a cutesy little monster, rather than a scary one. More like a Disney character than anything else I guess. Iām not the worldsā best cartoonist anyway, so this is quite plain and simple. Minimal shading, unlike the style of artwork I usually draw.
