still under construction but…
Its ok but from an aesthetic point of view the site is very poor. I suggest spending a little time on making your site look decent otherwise it won’t attract people to buy your programmes.
Why use frames to mask the fact that your page in on comcast to only use frames again on your comcast site? You might as well just use frames once instead of twice. Even for a non-W3C valid site, your site is missing a lot of code. You have no title which is one of the most imprtant tags out there. You need to look into using meta tags because that can help also.
The design is ok, but if I looked at your code for your site(I did) and used that to base on the quality of your work for your programs, I wouldn’t be interested in them.
i dont understand what u mean by usiong frames twice. i originally used css…what a headache
Go to your site and then do a view source. You have a frame that is pointing to your comcast site. Basically you just use the frame so it’s easier for people to remember your URL. Anyway, I then went to your real site and you use frames again. What I should see after doing a view source the first time is the three different frames that are on your comcast site.
And externally linked CSS rocks!
um…
ok any suggestions on how to make the design better
waiting …is grey a bad color? or
About good design, well, that’s difficult to anwser. It’s got nothing to do with grey at all. grey can look great with just another colour complimenting it. Take the following site for example
http://www.inlusion.com/site.html
What I would suggest is looking at forums that showcase cool sites, see what you think looks good and make a note of that, then look at another great site and make notes from that. I’m not saying copy things directly but just think to yourself, yes that looks good the way the picture fades and the two colours work together for example.
You’re on your way, so just keep looking and practicing.
Sorry for the delay, but I was swamped under things for a bit. I briefly played around with changing your site around. I personally would use your logo image once on the page. Maybe in the upper left corner. I would then have all of your menu/links go right under it. This would open up the rest of your page for your content. I went and combined your two JavaScript things into one and placed them under the header area. I took out the copyright item as one of the random things your JS could kick out and just placed it on your site so it’s there all the time. I got about 50% of the way done to doing a complete recode with CSS and maybe when I get some time I can go and finish it off.
