Hey yall,joey here.
In class we’ve been studying child labor and “sweat shops”
and ive been thinking to start an organisation against the subject.
Im sure lots of you know what a sweat shop is but for those who dont.
A swet shop is a place were clothing for “GAP” and HOLLISTER"
and other very poular clothing is made aswell as any other thing big companys need made for thier stores like target. ect.
Anyway I thought. Maybe us desingers at kirupa can do somthing about this and use are computer knowledge and some time to start an organisation.
So im not sure how or what we could do to help.but thatd be the whole idea of the organisation.so, let me know if anyone would join me in this.
ideas are greatly appreciated! and even if your not good at designing you can still join in becuase anyone is helpful and we need help and enough people to start one.
right now while we are all sitting here in a home on the computer using away hours or so of freetime a kid in ANY part of the world is suffering a unliveable pay to be abused and overworked to make our clothes and everyday items.
Its not fair,They are beaten and somtimes raped, They need people like us to help them! please help me and others in this project to help prevent child labor and even save lives!
