Ok so sometimes We do websites and We have encounterd following scenario and it really pisses me off!!
Curious Client comes in ask for the proposal…we draft one after spending time, talking to them and their department, going to meetings , waste of time and such a draggggg sometimes but we come up with a beautiful proposals, we mail it to the client or client wants a copy of it…we cant charge them for that at that point of time now (can we?) and we cant say no to a potential client either…what a dilemma…
Soon we find out that some other cheap company is doing there website for half our prices, bad design, good design we dont care…but YES…our sitemap, link as we named them…as we set the pages, so simply they take our hardwork and give it to some newbie designer who messes it up…but anyways thats not our problem, we dont get paid for proposal writing and it just sucks…
curious…what is your web design project handeling process…
and how do you avoid this situation?
