Does your computer or computers have a nickname, pet name, or just something else you refer to it by? How did it get the name? This can be funny sometimes…

My server’s name is OTTO, named after the blowup doll on Airplane! and my workstation is named Lester after Lester Burnham in American Beauty.

My computer is named Jerry. We named it that because we had gotten another one at around the same time and named it Ben.

i call him Comp-uter. Dont know why i call it that, just some crazy thought came to my head.

as another example, a friend of mine has named all of his computers after Star Wars characters. His server is Vader, his main workstation is Luke, and his laptop is R2D2.

mine is ATARI. I put an Atari sticker over the manufacturers logo on the back too. Makes it seem like a real gaming machine.

It’s nick name is “Sen’s *****in’ Laptop” in mocking my bosses iMac which on the server is named “Dave’s *****in’ iMac”

My home computer looks like this. My guy calls it "Optimus Prime"
My computer at work is called IFW1PDXWRSR060 or some such nonsense.
