Hey guys my brother works for Process PassPort Inc. and was in St Louis Mo installing and configuring software at a company called GH Tool. They make molds for transmissions and such for General Motors. they have these mouse like devices they use with their cad systems called a spaceball. It works through a usb port like a separate mouse that you can use to rotate and pan around the 3d model. These things are awesome. It would save you so much time rotating and panning around in your 3d modeling programs. check em out.
New they cost $500 but I found some on ebay for $200. 3dconnexion is a division of Logitech. I’ve always liked Logitech. I was wondering if any of you 3D guys use any of these or any similar products. I’m definately going to buy one of these. Here is a picture.
Anyway I just wanted to share this with you guys I think it would make things go so much faster.
