I don’t quite know whether this is “Random”-suited or not, but hey.
I’m starting a site to enable people to track how much money I’ve saved for my Macbook Pro (or whatever it’s called when I’ve saved enough!) mainly out of boredom, but hopefully some random people will donate a few pennies.
Anyway, that’s not the issue. I was wondering whether Apple could sue me for writing about their trademarks, such as “MacBook” and “iBook”. For example, if I was to write:
“I really think that a MacBook Pro would be a welcome addition to my desk”
Would I have to then put something in the footer after I say:
“Copyright © Ben Smith 2006.”
Saying something like:
" “MacBook Pro”, “iBook” etc. trademarks of Apple Computer 2006"
And also, thinking about it, would they actually mind me using images from Google of their products and the specifications just to put on the site what I want to buy?
