A couple problems that are confusing:[LIST=1]
[]The lil’ Flash thing at the top is kinda wonky, the page opens with an outline around it sometimes and says something like press spacebar to activate something something…
[]I’m on a PC, so I haven’t tested out the Mac folio (.hqx), so if someone’s on a Mac…!
[]The Resume.pdf link has one of them _blank’s attached to it. Do I need that?
[]Finally, the pink link at the bottom (the movie) screws everything up. It used to work – I have no idea what happened to it. I’m really bad with code, so something is probably misplaced.[/LIST]I think there’s some ActiveXwhatever stuff going on that connects problems 1 & 4… If you guys could help, I would be extremely thankful.

First of all, this type of request should be in one of the Flash or Actionscript forums below; this forum is for critiques of finished works, not troubleshooting. (-:
I don’t notice most of the problems you pointed out… 1 seems not to happen to me. I can’t test 2 either. I don’t note the problem on 3. Your resume itself, though… a little smaller on the name and get rid of the highlighting, please… it looks painfully obvious you made it in Word, something you don’t want painfully obvious if you’re in this field. I don’t note the problem on 4 either.
I’m on Firefox 1.5 on Windows XP SP2. My version of Flash is 8.
It would probably help if you posted this information.
^ - thx! #1 and #4 only seem to happen in IE, not firefox. im always bad with IE code. when the “watch this” link is clicked, it says “click to activate activeX controls”, then you click, and IE crashes. strange. #2 ill leave, + i think #3 is fine (the _blank deal).
as far as the resume, i had to fire one off quick – will be formatted via indesign soon. placeholder. i know it screams word, but what can you do.

do you know anyone who actually feels good about downloading random .exe files off the internet and then running them on their machines?
i think by taking your portfolio off the website you’re severely pigeonholing yourself as to who is actually going to look at your work and who is going to run away from your downloadable .exe
