Designers I need help with a Career Decision

Like I mentioned in a few other posts, I’ll be working from college with a small web design company I’ve been with for the last year. I started working there last september, its not a bad job for a self-taught 17 year old.

Right now I’m in a position where I plan on going as far as I can with this while making good money along the way. (btw im going to college for Business)

I currently know:
-XHTML (Very well)
-Photoshop (Also very well)
-PHP (intermediate/advanced level)
-MySQL (good, experianced with php integration)
-XML (currently studying this)

Right now I work 4 days a week (mon-thursday) for 6 hours a day.

I am only getting paid 2 dollars above minimum wage though (almost 9/hr CAD) but I heard most designers get 12/hour out of college and I know just as much as them plus with a years experiance Ive learned more then any book could teach.

These are the options I seem to have:
a) Should I request a raise and change a few ways that I work: to only get paid for the hours I am working and I will do work over 6 hours or less depending on the work load. This will make it more flexible and have more productive time.

b) Find a better employer when I move to the city for college while finishing my portfolio and doing freelance work.

c) Stay with what I got until a better opportunity comes by because its not likely I’ll get hired with out college training/or the fact im to young.

Any suggestions on what I should do?
